PUBLIC HEALTH HOTEL GUEST INFORMATION
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
Guests and staff health and safety is always our Hotel’s number one priority. The Hotel has implemented in accordance with EU and local government guidelines on the management of Coronavirus appropriate procedures to safeguard its guests and staff health and safety whilst guests are staying at the Hotel. It is, therefore, essential that all guests using the Hotel facilities strictly follow measures and guidance given by the hotel to prevent infection and virus transmission to a maximum.
In this regard, while staying at the Hotel you must respect any and all related healthcare measures (indicatively including physical distancing, hand washing, use of face masks).
You must stay in your room if you experience at any time during your stay at the Hotel minor symptoms such as cough, headache, mild fever, and get in touch with the Hotel’s reception immediately.
Upon departure, you are explicitly requested to immediately notify the Hotel if you develop symptoms associated with COVID-19, or obtain a positive test result for COVID-19, within 14 days following departure.
I, the undersigned, hereby declare that: i) I am aware of the hotel’s compliance with all health protocols in hospitality establishments in force at the time of my stay, especially Law no 4688/2020 and Joint Ministerial Decision no 1881/29.05.2020 and have been informed of all relevant information through the hotel’s official website ( www.astravillage.com). I therefore unreservedly accede to those measures as I consider them to be adequate and in line with all relevant legislation. ii) I nonetheless acknowledge, including for and on behalf of any of my co-guests and invitees, any risks that might occur as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and have an adverse effect to my health or that of my co-guests, and agree that in such an unlikely event, no liability shall be attributed to the hotel’s management. iii) I also understand that the Hotel does not assume any liability for any costs, claims and expenses, incurred or suffered by myself or any member of my co-guests, and therefore I hereby waive any right to demand compensation from the Hotel for any incidental and consequential damage as well as monetary satisfaction for the moral damage that will arise from the infection of myself or any member of my co-guests with COVID-19, during our stay or within a period of 14 days following departure.
I am aware and have been informed about all information concerning all specific infection prevention and control measures, mainly personal protective measures, required to be implemented by myself and all members of my co-guests at all times, through the hotel’s official website ( www.astravillage.com) and commit to comply with all measures in order to ensure the health of other guests of the establishment and to prevent infection and virus transmission to a maximum, including the adherence to the provided course of action in case I develop signs and symptoms of COVID-19.
I acknowledge that my personal data and information will need to be used by the Hotel, as prescribed under the abovementioned protocols (and particularly in cases of potential or confirmed infections) and expressly agree thereon.
I further confirm that I have read and understood and agree to all the above and all the information given and I have personally informed all parties in my booking who agree with the information given and we will all comply with any other related requirements, measures and protocols notified to us by the Hotel.
We hereby inform you that the hotel maintains the right to charge the credit card of a guest, even after departure, if there is an outstanding balance. In the case of damage caused by the guest, the Hotel maintains the right to request compensation for the value of the damage.
We would like to strongly recommend keeping all valuables in your electronic safety box, as our hotel does not take responsibility for the loss of valuables.
As of January 1, 2018, and according to Article 53 of Law 4389/2016 of the Greek legislation, a new levy — or the so-called “stayover tax” — is imposed, to all hotels in Greece based on the number of overnight stays, and will amount to € 0.50 per room, per night hotels. Guests are required to pay the aforementioned amount in person, upon their arrival.
